Lawn Boy 10640 Gas Powered Lawn Mower

Hello Readers,

Well, I’ve mostly talked about electric powered lawn mowers, but I’m finally breaking with tradition and brining you a review of the Briggs and Stratton Gas Powered Lawn Mower. Gas powered lawn mowers are generally much less expensive than their electric lawn mower counterparts and deliver a great deal more power, however they take quite a bit more maintenance to keep in tip top shape. There is oil, gas, and filters to worry about buying and replacing when you purchase a gas mower. Okay, that does it for my brief intro to Gas Mowers, on with my review of the Lawn Boy 10640 Gas Powered Lawn Mower.

First off it comes with a powerful 6.5 GT 650 Series Briggs and Stratton Engine. It starts up with little ease. I suppose the main advantage to the Lwan Boy 10640 Gas Powered Lawn Mower is price. Price was the main factor involved in building this lawn mower. If you’re looking for a cheap gas powered lawn mower you’re not going to find anything much more reliable for less than $250 bucks anywhere, unless you find some sucker at a yard sale willing to part with his almost new lawn mower for fifty bucks for some reason. Ahhh, I love taking advantage of suckers….I mean, good deals.
A lot of gas powered mowers lack a mulching option. Not so with the Lawn Boy 10640 Gas Powered Mower. It’s equipped with a 3 function cutting system with the option to spit out clippings on the side, mulch or mutiliate them so you don’t have to rake up large unsightly chunks, or simply direct the clippings in to the catch bag that’s included with the lawn mower.

Oh, did I mention the lawn mower is covered for two years from any and all defects? Yeah, two whole years! Sounds like a good deal to me, especially when it’s retailing for a fairly low price of $239!
