Sometimes companies just get things wrong, like when Sony thought giving the Playstation 3 a better graphics card was going to sell consoles or when Dominos Pizza thought Oreo Pizza with a cardboard crust was palatable. Today I review a blower that was manufactured by a company that just got it wrong. Here is my Weed Eater Electric Blower Review.

The Weed Eater Electric Blower is not your average blower, it’s actually far less than your average blower. You can expect the average blower to work with a small risk of defects. I can’t say the same of the Weed Eater Electric Blower. It is plagued with problems.

Weed Eater attempted to create a 3 in 1 blower, mulcher, and lawn vacuum. The Weed Eater Blower works fine when it’s running. My problem is that it doesn’t always run. Many people have reported that their Weed Eater Blower will shut off after a few minutes of use. That’s not the only problem. If you’re lucky enough to order a Weed Eater Blower that actually works, the bag used to capture leaves and debris when vacuuming frequently spews dust and the zippers often break down very quickly. Weed Eater has been very good about replacing the defective bags, but I wouldn’t want the hassle anyway.

Hopefully we’ll see some better products from Weed Eater in the future. Until then I can’t recommend the Weed Eater Electric Blower EBV215 in this review because there’s a decent chance you’ll get one that doesn’t work. My favorite blower brands are Toro or Black and Decker; they have a consistent track record of well designed and manufactured blowers.
